Anchorage of the pipe work is provided by using fixed pipe clips after each group of fittings immediately behind the following coupling, and using loose pipe clips between them. In horizontal lines the pipe clips should be spaced at intervals of 10 Dia.
(dia. =outside pipe Dia.) and on down pipes at intervals of 2 m ( 6.5 ft.)

Pipe clips may be used as fixed or loose clips. When used as fixed clip, a plastic strip is placed between pipe and clip to assure a firm hold. Without the plastic strip they act as loose clips permitting linear of the pipe.

Pipe hooks are not permitted. Where pipes have to be mounted on ceiling joints, we recommended the use of hanging clips which are specially adapted to the dimensions
